Monteith Riverpark and summer concerts in Albany
Monteith Riverpark
Monteith Riverpark is in downtown Albany, at 489 Water Ave NW. The City's Albany Waterfront Project, part of the Central Albany Revitalization Area, aims to reconnect downtown with its rivers. The City says the work at Monteith added park lighting, a playground, a splash pad and a stage with accessible seating. The City's project page was last updated in December 2023, so check with Albany Parks and Recreation for what is open now.
River Rhythms
River Rhythms is a free summer concert series run by City of Albany Parks and Recreation. It is held on Thursdays in July and August at Monteith Riverpark. Concerts start around 7 pm and food vendors begin at 5 pm. The City asks that people donate $1 per person. The Albany Visitors Association says the series has run for more than 30 years. Lineups are posted each year on the City page, so we do not list performers. Parks and Recreation is at 333 Broadalbin SW, 541-917-7777.
