Rivers and trails in Albany
Albany sits where the Calapooia River meets the Willamette. The City's Waterfront Project page describes Albany's historic ties to both rivers.
The City's trails page lists ten trails and paths. Some of them:
- Dave Clark Trail runs along the south side of the Willamette, 1.5 miles each way (3.0 round trip).
- Takena Landing Trail runs along the north side of the Willamette.
- Oak Creek Greenbelt Trail is a 1.8-mile soft-surface trail that connects Teloh Calapooia Park with the Calapooia River.
- Periwinkle Creek Trail is a paved, flat path from Grand Prairie Park to the Albany Boys and Girls Club, 3.61 miles round trip.
The City says all distances are approximate. Check the trails page for the full list and map.
